Easy apple jam recipe
INGREDIENTS
1) Apples cleaned & Sliced – 2 kg
2) Lemon Juice – 3 tsp
3) Sugar – 1 1/5 kg
4) Ghee – 4 tbsp
5) Cinnamon (optional) – 1 tbsp
6) Orange/Red Colour (optional) – 3 or 4 drops
METHOD
1) Wash, clean and chop apples and put them in the water with 2 tsp of lemon juice.
2) Grind the sliced apples into a fine paste.
3) Pour 1/2 kilogram of sugar and half ghee into the apple paste and cook them till apple softens.
4) Pour rest of the sugar and ghee in boiling apple mix and cook it for 10 minutes more.
5) Add the rest lemon juice, colour and stir until we get a thick consistency.Add cinnamon into it and remove them from the heat.
6) Allow it to cool for about 15 to 30mins.Pour warm jam into a clean and sterlized jam jars.
:- Dont add water to it.
:- Serve it with Bread,Bagels etc.
